About Me

I start what is not happening yet.

That's the work, stated as plainly as I know how.

For twenty-five years, brands have hired me to build what doesn't exist — next-generation apparel, material platforms, creative systems that amplify human judgment instead of replacing it.

The names on that list include HOKA, UGG, Patagonia, Stio, Figs, ONNIT and many more.

The outcomes include product lines, innovation functions built from scratch, proprietary cooling technology, and the quiet infrastructure underneath collections people don't realize has infrastructure.

My instinct is to look for what's underneath. In materials, that means the platform beneath a product line — the architecture that lets a brand ship faster, more coherently, with less waste.

In teams, it means the patterns people are stuck in without knowing it.

In product, it means the signal I can feel before the data arrives.

I don't separate the operator's discipline from the intuitive's pattern recognition. One reads carbon fiber and knit construction. The other reads people and timing. Both start from the same question: what is actually going on here, underneath what everyone is saying?

The core of the work is simple. I design what the world doesn't yet know it needs and I bring it to life with clarity, precision, and respect for the people on the other side of the product.

Based in Santa Ynez, California.
